New Albany High School's Athletic Director, Mr. Rex Reeder may be reached at rreeder@newalbany.k12.oh.us,  office 614.413.8326, fax 614.413.8301.  New Albany High School is an Ohio High School Division 2 member and plays in the  tough and competitive Ohio Division of the Mid State League (MSL).  

Alex is a Junior and was named 2nd Team All League.  Alex averaged over 14 points during the last 8 games of the season. Alex helped New Albany win the MSL Championship, Central Ohio District Championship and advance to the Elite 8 of the State of Ohio Division II State playoffs, only to lose to eventual State Champions Dayton Dunbar.  Alex averaged 18 points the final 2 games of the State of Ohio 2005-06 basketball tournament. As a Senior, Alex earned 2nd. team all OCC league and HM Central District Team. 

Alex continues to grow, weight train and prepare for College.  Alex is enrolled in New Albany's College Preparatory Classes.  As a Junior and Sophomore, Alex was a Varsity letter winner in  football and soccer.  Alex was Soccer first team All District and All League as a goal keeper and mid-fielder.

Alex is enrolled in New Albany's College Preparatory Classes.  Alex also plays Club and Varsity Soccer and Basketball.  Alex scored a 20 on the ACT which he will retake soon and earned a 2.9 GPA out of possible 4.0 GPA.  Alex is a very active young man with a busy sports and classroom schedule.  Alex plays 3 Varsity sports and will have earned 9 letters by the time he graduates from New Albany HS.  Alex volunteers in various community outreach programs involving the under privileged and youth sports programs.  Alex has accepted a scholarship to be the place kicker at Mercyhurst College in Erie, Pa.  Good luck with your college career!
