STERLING
HAYWOOD was named to the SECOND TEAM ALL
OHIO OFFENSE TEAM DURING THE
2001 FOOTBALL SEASON. STERLING HAYWOOD is a
5'10, 198 pound right handed Senior
student-athlete who runs the 40 yard
dash in 4.40 seconds and has a recorded vertical leap of 39
inches. Sterling attends Westland High School in
Columbus, Ohio. Sterling was
named to the first team all Ohio Capital Conference team as
running back, Second leading ground gainer in football rich
Central Ohio. Sterling found his way into the end zone 14
times during the regular season at Westland High School.
This member
as a Sophomore running back
played in 10 games and gained over 700
yards in the tough Ohio Capital Conference.
This member
started for the Westland Cougars his Junior
year on offense and played considerably as a
defensive back and safety. Sterling
Haywood earned HONORABLE
MENTION ALL LEAGUE AND ALL DISTRICT OF FOOTBALL RICH CENTRAL
OHIO as a junior.

School is a Division I (big school) member of the Ohio High
School Athletic Association and a member of the always
competitive Ohio Capital Conference.

works hard in the classroom. He had a 2.8
GPA his Sophomore Year, and a 2.9
his first grading period his Senior Year..
Sterling takes College Prep Courses while he weight and
speed trains during the off season. Sterling Haywood
is a member of the Westland Track Team and runs the
100 Meter Sprint and is on the 4 by 1 Relay Team. The
4 by 1 relay team has recorded a flat 44.00 seconds
quarter. Watch this member excel his senior year in
the classroom and on the field.
