Alex Emrich is an outstanding Right handed/footed  6'3" 175 lb., size 13 shoe, Kicker who plays for the Eagles of New Albany High School. New Albany High School is located at 7600 Fodor Rd., New Albany, Ohio  43054.  Coach Mark Mueller may be called at (614) 413-8325,  the school Fax is (614)413-8328.  The New Albany Eagles reached the playoffs the last two years in the football rich State of Ohio.  New Albany High School earned the 2007 Regional Championship and made it to the State of Ohio Division 3 Semi-final Championships, the final four.

Alex earned All Ohio special mention, Central Ohio All Metro Team honorable mention, first team All-Central District of Ohio and All Ohio Capital Conference as a Place-kicker.  Alex hit a 48 yard field goal, a school record, and has only missed two FG attempt this season.  Alex handles all the Place-kicking duties including punting for New Albany.  Alex is very comfortable and accurate in the 50+ yard range. 

As a Junior, Alex was the starting Kickoff man while he relieved a Senior All Ohio Kicker who attends a Ivy League School where he plays football as a place-kicker currently.

Alex also completed his 3rd year as the starting Mid-Fielder on New Albany Soccer's team.  In Ohio, football and soccer are played during the same fall season.  Alex has developed an exceptional football kick thru training with professionals and using his extensive experience earned playing club and school soccer at the highest levels of competition.  Please see more about Alex's soccer accomplishments on his soccer website at www.gocollegebound.com.

Alex has attended several kicking camps the summer of 2006.  Alex has been evaluated by several D-1 programs.  Alex finished in the top 5 at both the Ohio State University 2005 Kickers Summer Camp and the Ray Pelfrey 2004 Kickers Camp held at Eastern Michigan University.  Alex is fortunate that he has and will personally train with current college kickers that start in both the Big Ten and Ivy League.  Alex has earned Soccer's first team All District and All League honors as a Sophomore and first team All League and Honorable Mention All District as a Junior.  Alex earned 2nd. Team All Ohio Capital Conference League Honors as a Senior.  Alex also is a starter on the New Albany Varsity Basketball team where he also earned several honors.   Alex plays 3 Varsity sports and will have earned 9 letters by the time he graduates from New Albany HS.  This is quite an accomplishment at this prestigious college prep school

Alex is enrolled in New Albany's College Preparatory Classes.  Alex scored a 20 on the ACT which he will retake soon and earned a 2.90 GPA out of possible 4.0 GPA.  Alex is a very active young man with a busy sports and classroom schedule.  .  Alex volunteers in various community outreach programs involving the under privileged and youth sports programs.
