Alex Emrich is a quick 6'3", 175 lb. right footed Starting Varsity Center Mid-Fielder and is experienced as a exceptional Goal Tender for the Eagles of New Albany High School, a College Preparatory Coed High School located in New Albany, a suburb of greater Columbus, Ohio.   Alex earned First Team Central District and First Team All Mid State League Honors as the Eagles Sophomore Goal-Tender. The Eagles finished in second place overall in the league and 2004 Central Ohio District Runner up. 

During 2004, New Albany Boys soccer moved up to Division II and competed for honors against larger schools in Soccer rich Central Ohio. Alex moved out of Goal late during his Junior High School year and started as the New Albany Eagle's Center Mid-Fielder to help add offensive punch.  Alex scored 3 goals in 5 games and earned First Team All League and Honorable Mention All Central District Honors as a Junior, exceptional considering he changed positions during the same season.    As a Senior, Alex is the starting Center  Mid-Fielder and often will move to the front line to help score goals.

Alex weight trains and conditions year around.  Alex also is the point guard on the high school basketball team and Kicker on the Football Team at New Albany.  

Alex is enrolled in New Albany's College Preparatory Classes.  Alex also plays Club and Varsity Soccer and Basketball.  Alex scored a 20 on the ACT which he will retake soon and earned a 2.9 GPA out of possible 4.0 GPA.  Alex is a very active young man with a busy sports and classroom schedule.  Alex plays 3 Varsity sports and will have earned 9 letters by the time he graduates from New Albany HS.  Alex volunteers in various community outreach programs involving the under privileged and youth sports programs.
